New Products of 2013 (Coming Soon)

We have been working on a few new products over the last months:

Digislider Kill Switch
Digislider Quick Release Motor Mount
Digislider Wheel Feet
Digislider Motor Controller MK II

Digislider Kill Switch – (March Release)

The Digislider Kill Switch has been developed which will fit into the latest Digislider’s pulley housing. There are two switches, either end, and when plugged into the controller can stop the device when the carriage reaches the end. As soon as you flip the direction switch on your Digislider Controller, it will start working again.

The Kill Switch will not be compatible with previous versions of our Add-On, which include the Digislider itself, as it incorporates the Add-On with the igus rail and carriage.

Digislider Quick Release Motor Mount – (March release)

The Quick Release Mount will enable you to release the motor with one turn of a dial, which will allow much quicker motor changes and allow you to change over to the hand crank with ease.

Pulley housing in this picture is not anodised. All Add-Ons will come with anodised components, like the pictures with the kill switch attached.

Digislider Wheel Feet – (March April release)

The Digislider Wheel Feet will do the same as the current Digislider Adjustable Feet, but have the addition of fluid and smooth wheels at either end to do dolly shots on smooth surfaces. They can be screwed onto the underside of the rail in the same way the adjustable feet can, and can be twisted at various angles to allow curved dolly shots.

The carriage can be locked into place or can be free to slide along the track while the wheels are utilised to do dolly shots on flat surfaces.

Digislider Motor Controller MK II – (March release)

The Motor Controller MK II has been internally redesigned to incorporate a 9V internal battery source, as well as reducing the high pitch motor noise exerted from the Motors due to the pulse width modulation (PWM) current circuit of the Motor Controller. Please refer to the ‘high pitched noise’ article at www.digislider.co.uk/faq under the ‘Motors’ section.
