First of all, the Digislider is the best quality/price combination. It does everything you expect (and more) from a motorized slider…
The DigiSlider does exactly what it says on the tin. I’ve used the DigiSlider for nearly all sorts of video and film production, but also especially for time lapses. I use it with the MX2 controller and have shot some great time lapse sequences in all sorts of angles utilising the DigiSlider. It’s robust, solid and still is the best value motion slider out there. And this is still using the first generation slider. I’m happy to see the DigiSlider has since been upgraded and no doubt it will surpass my current expectations.
What can you say? Great price, great service and a great product… …it was all incredibly straightforward and inside 5mins of taking it out of the packaging I had the slider ready to go… …Zooms, tracks, vertical moves – We did it all… …We shot in nigh-on monsoon storms, blazing heatwaves and has been pushed, pulled, prodded and dropped by the various crews of carpenters and florists and engineers working on the Royal Barge. It’s essentially bulletproof and just kept on going through whatever we threw at it.

I’m a photographer who’s being asked to do more and more video work, but as it’s only a percentage of what I do I’m reluctant to spend thousands on specialist kit. I’m also reluctant to have to lug around any more heavy nags than I have to! 
After experiments with other brands of slider I have to say I’m delighted with my new Digislider motorised rig. It’s really easy to set up and is extremely smooth in operation. I use a Nikon D800 for most of my work and the slider copes with a variety of lenses from a 14-24mm f2.8 to a 70-200 f2.8 and the 85mm f1.8 pictured here, maintaining a smooth and easily modulated movement at all times, despite the sometimes considerable weight I ask it to cope with. 
A nice trick is to get the slider level and locked-off on a sturdy video tripod and then pan the camera using a small video head while sliding at the same time. It creates a very interesting track-and-pan effect. Easy to do when you’re not hand-winding the slide. The motor is powered by a single 9v battery, which saves weight and cost (I use rechargeables). I just have to remember to add the batteries to my list of “things to charge before the shoot”! However, it’s good to know there’s a manual crank there in case of emergency. I just bought the Digislider, Motors, Adjustable Feet, Controller and Battery pack.
All arrived perfectly.
It was really easy to set up, with the instructions provided.
This is for me the best slider on the market in terms of value for money, and it’s a really rock solid heavy duty rail.
If anyone has any desire to get into TimeLapse photography, or the need for a slider in your video work, then you can’t go wrong here with this amazing piece of kit for the price.
And the guys over at Digislider are really helpful in answering any questions, and very quick in getting back.
An all round superb service.
